To set rules regarding smoking and the use of all electronic smoking products at the University of Saskatchewan.
The Smoking Policy applies to all university staff, faculty, students and visitors working/learning or participating in activities on university owned, or leased properties, buildings, and/or using university vehicles.
Smoking includes, but is not limited to, the use of cigarettes, bidis, cigars, cigarillos and pipes.
Electronic smoking products include all nicotine vaporizing devices such as electronic cigarettes, electronic cigars, electronic cigarillos, and electronic pipes, personal vaporizers (PV), electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) as well as cartridges of nicotine solutions and related products.
Aboriginal spiritual or cultural practices or ceremonies are exempt from the Smoking Policy but shall comply with the Smudging and Pipe Ceremonies Policy.
